As usual, we made the most of the natural materials from this project. The lot was cut 4 ft. at the rear in order to minimize foundation height and eliminate stairs in and out of the home. The natural limestone was reincorporated into the front landscape providing a gentle slope from the driveway to the front entry and also helping to provide the extra space needed for the owner’s boat storage. The roof pitch was set at 4/12 to meet local deed restrictions on ridge height while maintaining architectural appeal in the front elevations. The exterior is finished in 100% masonry mix of Texas White Lime and Sandstone and stucco.
